KCCAT's monthly Waitlist Workshop is a rotating series of three workshops designed to help patients or their parent(s) get a jump-start on treatment at KCCAT. This workshop will go over the basics of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), how to make treatment work for you, build readiness for treatment, and answer some general questions.
The workshop meets on the last Monday of each month, at 6:00 PM Central Time, and the topics repeat each quarter. Although the workshops are designed for patients or parents of a patient currently waiting for an initial appointment at KCCAT, it is open to anyone interested in learning more about CBT. (Please note that KCCAT Waitlist Workshops are not therapy, but educational sessions meant to provide useful information as you prepare for services.)

Paid registration is required in advance of each meeting. The price is $10 per person/family. There is a workshop designed for adult patients and one tailored to parents of children; both workshops meet separately at the same time.
